Dear Clients, Friends, and Partners,
I begin this letter with three brief reflections.
My parents taught me that, whatever I chose to do, I should pursue it with excellence and passion.
From a professor at the Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de São Paulo, I learned that a good lawyer is not one who merely memorizes the law, but one who reasons legally and considers the socioeconomic, cultural, and historical context of each case.
From my first employer, I learned that hard work—guided by ethics, loyalty to principles, and strong values—must always be both our foundation and our shield in the face of adversity.
These teachings, acquired at the very beginning of my personal and professional journey, became the foundation upon which Franzim Legal Consulting was built.
Now, in 2026, Franzim Legal Consulting celebrates 15 years of practice, consistently guided by ethical commitment and the ongoing pursuit of effective and excellent client service.
Throughout this journey, I have witnessed the firm establish itself as a reference in advising business families, with a focus on developing tailored legal solutions aligned with the specific needs of each client.
This is, therefore, a moment of recognition, reflection, and, above all, gratitude.
Franzim Legal Consulting was born from the principles that inspired this letter, grounded in a commitment to deeply understand each client’s matters—respecting their values, histories, and family cultural contexts—before proposing legal solutions that are efficient, specific, strategic, and contemporary, always delivered with a close and high-quality approach.
Since its inception, Franzim Legal Consulting has been structured to fulfill the role of the “family lawyer,” addressing a true gap in the legal market. More than being specialized in its areas of practice, the firm takes pride in being deeply specialized in its clients: it understands their histories, their wealth, and the paths taken across generations. With responsibility and respect, it has also become the custodian of the memory of each transfer of wealth and/or decision-making power.
In such a fluid era, I believe it is essential to devote special attention to the solidity of long-lasting relationships. This requires listening, sensitivity, respect, and trust in building the relationship between lawyer and client, particularly involving all members of the business family.
Over these 15 years, my team and I have had the privilege of witnessing and sharing truly defining moments: succession planning, the careful consideration of each clause, the implementation of appropriate corporate governance structures, the preparation of successors, the farewell of founders, the marriage of the next generation, the sale of companies, and even the founder’s final address to the next generation before decisions aimed at market consolidation.
None of this would have been possible without you, who entrusted Franzim Legal Consulting with your stories, your projects, and often the most sensitive moments of your business and personal journeys. Nor would it have been possible without the partners and friends who have walked alongside us, sharing values and knowledge. And above all, without the entire Franzim Legal Consulting team, who embody these same principles in their daily work with each client.

It is in this spirit that, at such a meaningful milestone, we launch the Franzim Legal Consulting newsletter, inaugurated with this first edition.
This new channel is a natural extension of our relationship: a space for dialogue, reflection, and exchange, where we will share experiences, relevant topics, and content related to areas of law that impact each of you.
I hope this newsletter becomes yet another point of connection between us and contributes to strengthening relationships that have always been built on trust and care.
